Tri - 2100 - Triclosan

A QUALITY ANTIMICROBIAL PRODUCT COMES AS A NEW MOLECULE FOR THE 21st CENTURY HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

Introduction

TRICLOSAN is a revolutionary product developed by Earnest John, marketed under the brand name TRI - 2100. The phenomenal use of this product is taking the world by storm due to its amazing properties and varied uses. TRI - 2100 is a diphenyl ether used as a preservative, disinfectant & anti - bacterial agent.

Since the development of TRI - 2100, there has been a trend toward its incorporation into toothpaste’s & mouthwashes. The rationale is that the addition of this antibacterial agent improves oral hygiene products and increases their effectiveness in controlling cavities, plaque and gingivitis.

TRI - 2100 is a bis-phenol derivative that has bacteriostatic activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

It is incorporated into such footwear as men’s hosiery and insoles of shoes, called "odour-eaters" because it is claimed that this chemical can suppress the odour produced by foot organism. Medicated soaps and bar soaps requiring a fairly high active antimicrobial content, imbibe TRI - 2100 as their active ingredient. The benefits of medicated soaps are generally undisputed, and their effectiveness is fairly easy to demonstrate. There is a need for medicated soaps in all areas where there is a high standard of hygiene. TRI - 2100 is also helpful as a protective or prophylactic measure wherever basic hygiene is deficient and endangers health.
